Nonpoint Source Annual Report

Annually, Virginia develops a report that summarize the key accomplishments that DEQ and its partners have made in implementing key milestones and action items highlighted in its five-year Virginia Nonpoint Source Management Plan

Virginia also tracks its progress through its annual reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency's Grants Reporting and Tracking System (GRTS). This is the primary tool for management and oversight of the EPA’s Nonpoint Source (NPS) Pollution Control Program. GRTS is a centralized database that allows the states to enter Section 319(h) project information and allows the general public to query grant information and create interactive reports on nonpoint source projects. EPA's GRTS system also has an interactive Map Viewer that allows someone to find projects that have occurred in specific areas of Virginia and the nation.
