The Virginia Roanoke River Basin Advisory Committee (VRRBAC) is an advisory committee to the Virginia delegation to the Roanoke River Basin Bi-State Commission (RRBBC). The Committee assists the delegation in fulfilling its duties and carrying out the objectives of the Commission, pursuant to § 62.1-69.34 (the legislation establishing the committee).

The VRRBAC is made up 23 members with the specific composition of committee outlined in § 62.1-69.34.  Meetings are held at the call of the chairman or by a majority request of the members.

The RRBBC was established as a bi-state commission composed of members from the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of North Carolina.  Information regarding the legislation establishing the commission can be found at: § 62.1-69.37.

DEQ provides staff support to the VRRBAC and RRBBC.
