Virginia Green Travel Star Awards
Virginia Green Travel Star Awards recognize the efforts of participants of Virginia Green. Since 2011, Virginia Green has recognized hundreds of Travel Stars and Travel Leaders for their commitments to sustainability and contributions to green tourism in Virginia. The application period for the 2025 Virginia Green Travel Star Awards is now closed.
The Travel Star award categories are:
- Green Program Award for the overall accomplishments of a facility
- Innovative Green Project Award for a specific accomplishment
- Green Team All-Star Award for individual staff members who are leading your facility's green program efforts.
- Best Green Supplier Award for a Virginia Green member whose products or services help other Virginia Green participants in their own greening efforts.
- People's Choice Award is open to any member that submits an award in one of the above categories.

2025 Travel Star Awards
The 2025 Virginia Green Travel Star Awards were presented at the Virginia Green Travel Conference held at Busch Gardens on March 20, 2025. These award winners are Virginia Green members that have demonstrated outstanding green tourism practices.
