DEQ is required to notify landowners residing adjacent to any proposed new land application sites about proposed permit actions. Adjacent landowners are given a 30-day comment period in which they may provide written comments on the proposed permit actions below 33 days from the day the postcard is postmarked.

This meeting of the Regulatory Advisory Panel for the Virginia Pollution Abatement Permit Regulation, 9VAC25-32, Implementation of Chapter 209 of the 2024 Acts of Assembly (HB870) will be held on April 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the DEQ Piedmont Regional Office at 4949-A Cox Rd. Glen Allen, VA 23060. The Notice of Intended Regulatory Action was published in the Virginia Register on September 23, 2024.

DEQ accepts comments by hand-delivery, e-mail, or postal mail. All comments must be in writing and be received by DEQ during the specified comment period. Submittals must include the permit number, and the name and postal address or email address of the commenter.
